The Blessed

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are they that have been persecuted for righteousness' sake:
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye when men shall reproach you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

                                                                                                                                                                                      m0503-12/l0620-3

Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them sit down to meat, and shall come and serve them.                                                                                                          l1237

But when thou makest a feast, bid the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: and thou shalt be blessed; because they have not wherewith to recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed in the resurrection of the just.                                                       l1413-4

And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only, in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.                                                                                                                                                  m1042

Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have good tidings preached to them. And blessed is he, whosoever shall find none occasion of stumbling in me.                                                                                                                                            l0722-3/m1104-6

[A certain woman out of the multitude: Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the breasts which thou didst suck.]
Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.                                                                                             l1127-8

And because iniquity shall be multiplied, the love of the many shall wax cold. But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.                                                                                                                                                                                           m2412-3

Peace
[To the Twelve:] And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.     m1013

[To the Seventy:] And into whatsoever house ye shall enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if a son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him: but if not, it shall turn to you again.                                                                                                        l1005-6

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.                                                                                                                                                                                           j1427

These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.                                                                                                                                                                          j1633

[To the disciples in the locked inner room:] Peace be unto you.                                                                                              l2436/j2019

[He said to them again:] Peace be unto you: as the Father hath sent me, even so send I you.                                                          j2021

[In similar circumstances but with Thomas present:] Peace be unto you.                                                                                           j2026
