13 Christ's Prophesies concerning Himself and His Second Coming in Glory

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye shall see the heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.                                                                                                                                                                                                   j0151

Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.                                                                                                     j0204

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believeth may in him have eternal life.                                                                                                                                                                             j0314-5

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour cometh, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself, even so gave he to the Son also to have life in himself: and he gave him authority to execute judgement, because he is the Son of man. Marvel not at this: for the hour cometh, in which all that are in the tombs shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done ill, unto the resurrection of judgement.                                                                                                                                                                                  j0525-9

Can the sons of the bride-chamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast. But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then will they fast in that day.

                                                                                                                                                                          k0219-20/l0534-5/m0915

The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day raised up.                                                                                                                                                                   l0922/k0831/m1621

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in his own glory, and the glory of the Father, and of the holy angels.                                                                                                    l0926/m1627/k0838

Verily I say unto you, There be some of them that stand here, which shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.                                                                                                                                                                                     m1628

.... how is it written of the Son of man, that he should suffer many things and be set at nought?                                          k0912/m1712

Let these words sink into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered up into the hands of men.                        l0944/m1722/k0931

Yet a little while am I with you, and I go unto him that sent me. Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, ye cannot come.                                                                                                                                                                                              j0733-4

[To the Jews:] I go away, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sin: whither I go, ye cannot come.                                          j0821

If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing: it is my Father that glorifieth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God; and ye have not known him: but I know him; and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be like unto you, a liar: but I know him, and keep his word. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day; and he saw it, and was glad.
[The Jews; Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?]

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.                                                                                                                j0854-8

I am the good shepherd; and I know mine own, and mine own know me, even as the Father knoweth me, and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and they shall become one flock, one shepherd. Therefore doth the Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again. No one taketh it away from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment received I from my Father.                                                                                                                                        j1014-8

The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit.                                                                                                         j1223-4
