8 Unity of Being with Christ (cont'd)

Neither for these only do I pray, but for them also that believe on me through their word; that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, .....                                                                                                                                                             j1720-1

.... for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.                                                                                                                j1724

All things whatsoever the Father hath are mine: .....                                                                                                                           j1615

[To the Pharisees:] Ye know neither me, nor my Father: if ye knew me, ye would know my Father also.                                           j0819

[To the Disciples:] If ye had known me, ye would have known my Father also: from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
[Philip: Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.]
Have I been so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how sayest thou, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I say unto you I speak not from myself: but the Father abiding in me doeth his works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto the Father.                                                                                                                          j1407-12

[The Jews: If thou art the Christ, tell us plainly.]
I told you, and ye believe not: the works that I do in my Father's name, these bear witness of me.                                                 j1024-5

But from henceforth shall the Son of man be seated at the right hand of the power of God.                                                              l2269

Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him; and God shall glorify him in himself, and straightway shall he glorify him.

                                                                                                                                                                                                       j1331-2

In that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.                                                                                     j1420

Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? [which is, being interpreted,] My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?                         k1534/m2746

Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended unto the Father: but go unto the brethren, and say to them, I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.                                                                                                                                                    j2017

9 Unity of Purpose with Christ
How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be in my Father's house?                                                                                   l0249

But if I by the finger of God cast out devils, then is the kingdom of God come upon you.                                                      l1120/m1228

My Father worketh even until now, and I work.                                                                                                                                  j0517

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh it away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he cleanseth it, that it may bear more fruit.                                                                                                                  j1501-2

.... for the Father is greater than I.                                                                                                                                                       j1428

The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father doing: for what things soever he doeth, these the Son also doeth in like manner. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and greater works than these will he shew him, that ye may marvel. For as the Father raiseth the dead and quickeneth them, even so the Son also quickeneth whom he will.
